chi·feed (https://chi-feed.subastra.dev) is a free, independently operated guide to events in Chicago. By using the site you agree to these terms. They're short — please read them.

The service is provided as-is

chi·feed is offered free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or from attending (or being unable to attend) any event listed on it.

Event information may be wrong — verify before you go

Listings are aggregated automatically from third-party sources (ticket vendors, venues, city feeds, and user submissions). Details can be inaccurate or out of date, and events can be moved, sold out, or canceled without notice. Always confirm the date, time, price, and availability with the original source before making plans or buying tickets. Ticket purchases happen on third-party sites under their own terms — chi·feed is not the seller and is not a party to those transactions.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service. In particular, you agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or query the site or its API in a way that overloads it or circumvents rate limits;
• submit fraudulent, misleading, or spam event listings;
• file false or bad-faith problem reports;
• probe, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the site's security or moderation;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

Accounts and submissions

Sign-in is handled by Google; you're responsible for activity under your account, and you can export your data or delete the account yourself at any time from the account menu. By submitting an event you confirm you have the right to share it and give us permission to publish, edit, or remove the listing. We may suspend or terminate accounts, and remove submissions or reports, for abuse of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the effective date at the top; for material changes, we'll also note it in the app. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
